Pokémon GO Spoofer — Install Guide

iOS & Android · Read the section for your device all the way through before you start.

⚠️ Use a spoofer at your own risk

No spoofer is 100% safe. Using one can get your account warned, struck or banned. I don't own any of these apps — this is only a guide on how to install them.

If you don't want to risk your main account, make a second account for spoofing. Be aware that a ban on a second account can sometimes affect your main one too.

Never use a spoofer in a way that affects other players.

Pick your method

You only need to read one method — the one for your device — plus the “Before you start” section below it. The guide looks long because it covers every problem people run into, not because the install is hard.

iPhone
iPOGO via Sideloadly
The most stable option, and the lowest ban risk of the three.
Needs a Mac or Windows PC + USB cable
Android
iPOGO
Installed straight from the APK on your phone.

Before you start all methods

📅 If a website won't load

Try again in a few hours, or a few days. These sites go down and come back. If it stays down, message me and I'll sort it out.

iPhone — iPOGO via Sideloadly needs a computer

You need a computer and a USB cable only to install the spoofer. After that you play on your phone without the computer. Works on both Windows and Mac.

🍎 On a Mac? Three differences

The steps below are written for Windows. Everything is the same on macOS except these three things — read them, then follow the numbered steps.

Everything else — connecting the phone, the IPA file, trusting the profile, Developer Mode — is identical. Stuck on something not covered? Message me.

🔌 Cable note — iPhone 15 and newer

Not every USB-C cable works. If your computer doesn't detect the phone at all and the phone doesn't even start charging, the cable is the problem. Try a different one.

  1. Download Sideloadly, iTunes and iCloud

Windows: get all three from sideloadly.io. Use the iTunes and iCloud versions from that site — not the Microsoft Store versions. If you already have Store versions installed, uninstall them first.

    🍎 Mac

Download the Mac version of Sideloadly (below the Windows button) and skip iTunes and iCloud — you don't need either. Then jump to step 2.

    Update

Sideloadly removed the iTunes and iCloud links from their site. Get them from the Microsoft Store or Apple's website instead.

Install all three. During setup, turn off automatic updates when it offers. Restarting your computer afterwards is a good idea.

  2. Connect your iPhone and allow the connection

Plug the phone in. Tap Allow on the prompt that appears on the phone.

  3. Run iTunes and iCloud as administrator

Right-click each icon → Run as administrator. Wait for the Trust This Computer prompt on the iPhone and tap Trust.

    No prompts?

That's normal if you've done this before. Carry on to the next step — if Sideloadly can see your iPhone, everything is fine.

  4. Open Sideloadly and select your iPhone

If it asks to install or update Local/Remote Anisette, accept it.

Pick your iPhone under iDevice, then enter your iCloud email under Apple ID.

    iPhone not showing up?

Unplug and replug a few times. Try a different USB port. Restart the computer and try again. If it still doesn't appear, restart once with the cable left connected the whole time — or if you already did that, restart with it unplugged and reconnect afterwards. If none of that works, uninstall everything and start from step 1.

“USB device needs more power than the computer supports”

Unplug the cable completely and restart. If that doesn't fix it, shut down fully (not restart) and power back on, then reconnect. You can also try shutting down with the cable left plugged in, or unplugging and replugging repeatedly, or a different USB port. One of those usually clears it.

  5. Download the iPOGO IPA file

Go to ipogo.app/install.php, press Install with Sideloadly, then Download the iPOGO IPA.

    Adblocker on for this step

Make sure you're downloading ipogo.ipa and not something a pop-up pushed at you. If a page asks for your phone number, email or card details, close it immediately.

  6. Load the IPA into Sideloadly and press Start

Click the IPA box on the left and choose the file — or just drag it onto the Sideloadly window.

Press Start. Enter the password for the Apple ID you typed in. If a code appears on your iPhone, enter it in Sideloadly and confirm on the phone. Installation then begins.

    Error: “Unsupported Device”

Before pressing Start, open Advanced Options and tick Remove limitations on supported devices, then try again.

  7. Trust the profile on your iPhone

Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → tap your email → Trust.

On iOS 18 it may ask you to confirm and restart. After the restart it asks once more and wants your passcode. Confirm both.

    Nothing listed there?

Then it didn't install. Start over, or wait a few days for an updated IPA and try again.

  8. Turn on Developer Mode if asked

If iPOGO asks for Developer Mode or crashes on launch: Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode → turn it on, restart, and confirm after the restart.

  9. Allow location, then launch

When the game asks about location, choose While Using the App or Allow.

Missed the prompt? Settings → Apps → Pokémon GO → Location and allow it there. If you can't find it, reinstall and allow it when asked.

🕐 Important — first launch

Open it once, then close it and leave it for 2–3 hours. This avoids cooldowns and reduces ban risk. On first run you may see no Pokémon, or bugs and glitches. That's normal. See Cooldowns.

📆 iOS only — the app stops working after 7 days

The iPOGO certificate expires a week after you install it. When it does: delete the app, download the newest IPA, and install it again with the same steps. This is normal and will keep happening.

Android — iPOGO no PC

  1. Read steps 2 and 3 before you download anything

You'll need to allow installs from unknown sources, and it's easier if you know that's coming.

  2. Allow installing apps from unknown sources

The exact name differs per phone — search “how to allow installing apps from unknown sources on your phone model”. Often you don't need to do it in advance: when you open the APK, Android offers to take you to the right setting.

  3. Download the iPOGO APK

Open your phone's browser and type this address in manually — don't tap it from a message:

    https://ipogo.app/install.php#android

Under Android Non Root, press Download the iPOGO APK.

    Watch for pop-ups

Close any ad that appears and make sure you're installing the iPOGO APK and nothing else. If a page asks for your number, email or card details, close it. Unsure about a file? Message me first.

  4. Open the APK and install it

If installation doesn't start after you allow unknown sources, find the downloaded file and open it again, or download it again from the site.

  5. Allow location, then launch

Choose While using the app or Allow when asked. Missed it? Settings → Apps → Pokémon GO → Location. If you can't find it, reinstall and allow it when prompted.

Can't see yourself, Pokémon, anything?

Close the app fully (swipe up twice, or use the recent-apps button) and reopen it. That usually fixes it.

🕐 Same first-launch rule

Open it once, close it, come back in 2–3 hours. See Cooldowns.

Android — PGSharp no PC

Identical to the iPOGO method above — only the download source changes. Type this in your browser manually:

https://www.pgsharp.com/

Download the PGSharp APK, then follow steps 2–5 from the iPOGO method.

Why pick PGSharp

Google login is easier. Your Google account appears in the list already, so you can tap it instead of typing your email and password again. Useful if you don't remember your password.

Problems and settings

Everything below applies to all three methods.

Cooldowns and avoiding bans

If you can't see Pokémon, can't catch anything, or hit odd glitches, that's almost always a cooldown, not a broken install. Close the app for a few hours and come back.

Rules that lower your risk

  • Don't teleport every day.
  • After teleporting, close the app for 2 hours and don't play in that time. You probably won't see Pokémon for the first 1–2 hours anyway.
  • Don't use high joystick speeds. Set movement above 1 km/h so you can move at all, but keep it realistic.
  • No VPN while playing. It increases ban risk.
  • Use a second account if you can't afford to lose your main.

The full list of what's safe and what isn't is on the iPOGO FAQ page — scroll to the question about bans and safe actions.

First run after installing

You may see one Pokémon or none at all. Catch the one that's there, walk around with the joystick, and more will appear. Or teleport, leave it 2–3 hours, come back, and walk a little.

Spawned somewhere random after installing? Just teleport home.

Turning on the joystick, auto-walk and other features
  • iPOGO on iPhone — tap the round iPOGO icon inside the game → settings → enable what you want.
  • iPOGO on Android — tap the settings icon in the bottom-right of the joystick bar.
  • PGSharp — tap the PGSharp star icon → settings.

Set movement speed above 1 km/h or you won't move at all. Keep it low enough to look realistic.

How to teleport
  • iPOGO on iPhone — tap the iPOGO bar → Map → type a city → Search → hold your finger on the spot until Teleport appears.
  • iPOGO on Android — no search bar. Tap the map icon on the joystick bar, pinch to zoom out, find the place, tap it, then choose Teleport.
  • PGSharp — tap the star icon → Map → type a city, or scroll to a spot and tap it, then Teleport.

Then close the app for 2 hours. See Cooldowns.

Can't log in to your Pokémon GO account

Apple ID login usually doesn't work in spoofers. Use Google, Facebook, or email and password instead.

If you only ever used Apple ID and have no other login

  1. Install the real Pokémon GO app

Delete the spoofer first, then log in with Apple ID as normal.

  2. Add a second login method

Tap the Poké Ball → settings icon (top right) → Account → Linked Accounts. Link Google or Facebook. For Pokémon Trainer Club you can set a password using “Forgot password”.

  3. Switch back

Delete the real app, install the spoofer, and log in with the method you just linked.

No Google or Facebook option showing?

You picked a young age when you first set up the spoofer, and those accounts only get Niantic Kids and Pokémon Trainer Club. Reinstall and enter an older date of birth.

Login just fails repeatedly

Tap the X at the bottom of the login screen and try again. Then try a different method. Then close the app completely and retry — sometimes several times. If nothing works, reinstall the newest version and try again, or switch methods.

Account banned and stuck on that screen? Delete the spoofer, reinstall, and log in with a different account.

It crashes, won't install, or says “integrity can't be verified”
One rule covers nearly all of these

Delete the app → reload the download page → download the newest version → install again. Repeat once a day until it works.

Reloading the page matters — that's how you get the current build rather than a cached old one.

This is normal and it isn't something you broke. When Pokémon GO updates, the spoofer has to be rebuilt to match, and the developers need time. Sometimes it's hours, sometimes days or weeks. Patience is the fix.

Other things worth trying

  • Crashes only after you enable a setting — reinstall, then turn features on one at a time until you find the one causing it, and leave that one off.
  • Stuck, frozen, or “Failing to authenticate” — close the app completely and reopen. Try a few times. Try logging out and back in.
  • Crashes on iPhone — an iOS beta profile can cause this. Move to the official iOS release, or use a different method.
  • Mac permission prompts when installing Sideloadly — the answers are in the FAQ at the bottom of sideloadly.io.
  • Still nothing — try another method from this guide, or message me.

When Pokémon GO updates (and the 7-day iOS expiry)

Every time Pokémon GO updates, the spoofer needs updating too. Until the developers publish it, you'll get “Pokémon GO is not updated”.

Fix: delete the spoofer, reload the download page, get the newest version, install it. If it's still not ready, try again in a few hours or days.

iPhone — every 7 days regardless

The certificate expires a week after installing, and the app stops opening. Delete it, download the newest IPA, reinstall. Nothing is wrong; this is just how sideloading works.

Can't open ipogo.app, pgsharp.com or sideloadly.io

Rare, but it happens — “access denied”, “restricted access”, or the page simply won't load.

This is the one time a VPN is fine

Use it only to open the download page, then turn it off before you play. A VPN while playing increases your ban risk.

Connect to a US, German or other Western location and reload the page. TunnelBear gives 2 GB free per month and works fine for this — on Android it's in the Play Store. Opera's built-in VPN works too. Any VPN will do.
